I have always enjoyed acrylic paining, experimenting over the years with different inspirations, some abstract, some nature themed, some portraiture, however over the last five years I have been focusing on acrylic pour painting. 

I was initially looking for a way to enhance one of the abstract paintings I was working on when I stumbled upon this particular technique.  The immediacy and spontaneity of the pour had me hooked immediately.  I found it completely addictive!

Each painting seems to discover itself which can be an exciting adventure. It’s an ongoing process of discovery and experimentation which can be both thrilling and frustrating at times.
I love how the paintings can instill a feeling of motion, and I love the freedom of being able to experiment with vibrant and bold colours.  Many of my current pours revolve around a floral theme, with a focus on the aesthetic.

I’m continuing to experiment with different techniques which is always a fun challenge.
I have had a lot of positive feedback which has been encouraging, and have completed several commissions.

I am at the beginning of my artistic journey and am looking forward to expanding my creativity!
